Our Plant is Solar-Powered
Sustainability is our top priority, which is why we power our production with solar energy, generated by our own solar power plant. This allows us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint, decrease dependence on conventional energy sources, and ensure that every product we manufacture is created with clean, renewable energy. In this way, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable production and environmental protection.
Automated Production Process for Waste Reduction
We use automated production systems that enhance precision and reduce waste, caused by human error. This allows us to optimize resource utilization and has significantly reduced raw material consumption in our production process.
Paper-Saving Digital Workflows
At ARP OOD, we have eliminated unnecessary paper usage by implementing a digital document distribution system.
This system is used across both office and factory operations:
✔ Electronic documents replace paper-based communication in our offices.
✔ Factory workstations use digital tablets to transfer production data, eliminating the need for printed documents.
This transition reduces paper waste and streamlines our workflow while enhancing efficiency.
Green Building Contribution
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
ARP OOD holds a Model Environmental Product Declaration (Model EPD) for its steel multifunctional doors and expects the issuance of its Company Environmental Product Declaration (Company EPD) in the near future. The Company EPD will cover the company’s entire production of fire-resistant and smoke-control doors.
An EPD is an internationally recognised and independently verified document that reflects the environmental profile of a company’s manufacturing processes and product portfolio. It provides transparent and quantitatively measurable information on the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle.
Through its EPD declarations, ARP supports architects, engineers, and investors in achieving higher standards of sustainable construction and in making informed and responsible decisions.

We have implemented environmental management systems in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, enabling us to monitor, assess, and improve our processes to minimize our environmental footprint, while maintaining high production efficiency.
This ensures that we continuously observe, evaluate, and enhance our operations to reduce environmental impact, comply with environmental regulations, and promote research and development toward sustainable solutions and eco-efficient technologies.
Energy-Saving LED Lighting
We have completely replaced the traditional lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting, which significantly reduces electricity consumption in the factory and offices while also contributing to a reduction in carbon emissions..
The project was implemented with the support of the European Regional Development Fund under project BG16RFOP002-6.022 “Recovery of SMEs through improving energy efficiency.”

Our Materials are EPD-Certified
The materials we use for our fireproof and multipurpose steel doors are already certified with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This means they have been assessed for their entire life cycle and are proven to have a low environmental impact. Additionally, they are:
✔ Non-hazardous – ensuring a safer and healthier environment.
✔ Fully recyclable – contributing to a circular economy by reducing waste.
In the near future, our doors will also be EPD-certified, further solidifying our commitment to sustainability.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
We are committed to sustainable packaging practices. We use wooden and reusable Euro pallets to reduce waste from single-use packaging. Additionally, we apply only the necessary amount of protective materials, such as anti-scratch film, to ensure the safe transportation of our doors without generating unnecessary waste.
